Meet Fr. Fioramonti.

What did you do prior to entering seminary?

After I graduated from Christendom in 2014, I came on as a limited partner of Block Party Bricks LLC, a Lego refurbishing company that specializes in buying old Lego collections and restoring them for the next generation of Lego builders to buy. My friends started the company four years ago, and I was so blessed to be a part of it.

What influenced your decision to apply for seminary entrance?

God will put the people in your life that will lead you to your vocation, and I have been blessed to know so many great seminarians and priests who showed me the joy that can come with giving your life to God through the priesthood of Jesus Christ.

Why do you want to be a priest?

There are so many reasons that I could give, but the main reason is simple, because I love God. He has given me so many blessings and I want more than anything to help others come to know that love. I believe God is calling me to do this in a special way as a priest.

What are your favorite pastimes?

Sports, definitely! Soccer is my favorite sport but I'll play basketball, baseball, lacrosse, golf, really anything! Additionally hanging out with my family, and friends, and discussing philosophical ideas.

What is your favorite quote?

"To carry one's cross is something great... what is greatness? It means facing up to life courageously, without weakness or meanness. It means that we turn into moral energy those difficulties which will never be lacking in our existence. It means understanding human sorrow, and finally it means knowing really how to love." Pope Paul VI

Who is your favorite Saint and why?

St. John Bosco. He is my patron saint, he had such trust in God, in carrying out his mission as a priest, and saw Christ in those he was called to serve, especially the youth.

What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the seminary?

Develop a relationship with God in daily prayer and daily Mass, make Jesus the most important person in your life, and desire above all else to do God's will!
