Sr. Clare Hunter, F.S.E.

Sister Clare was born and raised in Meriden, Connecticut.  She is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist.  Sister has a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication and Media from Southern Connecticut State University, a Master’s in Theological Studies from the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family in Washington, DC, and a Master’s in Education Administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX.  Before moving to the Arlington Diocese to become the Director of the Respect Life Office, she taught high school and served as the Director of Campus Minister at the University of St. Thomas in Houston.  She is a popular speaker and frequently contributes to the diocesan blog, Encourage and Teach.  Sister Clare lives with her Franciscan community at St. Philip’s in Falls Church.
