Once again we recall the anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision Roe vs. Wade by peaceably assembling in the annual March for Life. The tragedy of millions of defenseless lives destroyed by abortion is indeed a call to let our government officials and the world know that human life must be protected from the moment of conception to natural death. At the annual March for Life, hundreds of thousands gather to petition for an end to this grievous stain on our nation and to celebrate the gift of human life.
This year, the March for Life organization invites us to reflect on the theme "The Power of One." It is always imperative for us to be reminded that as each and every human life is unique and unrepeatable, it also takes each and every one of us to make a difference. Of course it is in the power of the One, Triune God that human life exists. Therefore, we turn to God for the grace to be courageous and faithful witnesses to the Gospel of Life. May the 44th March for Life be one of peace and safety and may many hearts be transformed and the lives of the unborn be protected.

Una vez más, recordamos el aniversario del fallo de la Corte Suprema en el caso de Roe contra Wade con una reunión pacífica en la Marcha Anual por la Vida. En realidad, la tragedia de millones de vidas indefensas destruidas por el aborto es un llamamiento para que los funcionarios públicos y el mundo sepan que es preciso proteger la vida humana desde el momento de la concepción hasta la muerte natural. En esta Marcha, centenares de miles de personas se reúnen para pedir que termine esta horrenda afrenta para nuestra nación y para celebrar el don de la vida humana.
Este año la organización de la Marcha por la Vida nos invita a reflexionar sobre el tema "El poder de uno". Es siempre indispensable que se nos recuerde que cada vida humana es única e irrepetible, pero también que cada uno de nosotros debe colaborar para marcar una diferencia. Por supuesto, la vida humana existe por el poder de Dios Uno y Trino. Por lo tanto, volvemos los ojos a Él para pedirle que nos dé la gracia de ser personas valientes y fieles a el Evangelio de la Vida. Que la 44ª Marcha por la Vida sea una marcha de paz y seguridad, que transforme muchos corazones y que lleve a proteger la vida de los niños que están por nacer.
