The Crisis in Black Education

Please join us for a Black History Month two-part series focused on "The Crisis in Black Education."

Part One: Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Our Lady, Queen of Peace Catholic Church
All are welcome at Our Lady, Queen of Peace for their Black History Month Program, "The Crisis in Black Education: Education in Liberia and the Diaspora" on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Our Lady, Queen of Peace Founders Room. 

The featured speaker is Sia. Barbara Kamara, Chair of the West African Ministry. A reception will follow the program. View the flyer for more details. 

 

Part Two: Sunday, February 19, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alexandria
All are welcome at St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Black History Month Program, "The Crisis in Black Education: Hidden Figures Part Two" at 2:00 p.m. This program will be a skit performed by the St. Joseph youth and will be focused on African American firsts. View the flyer for more details.
