Financially Support the Education of Our Seminarians

About The Seminarian Education Endowment Fund (SEEF)

This Endowment is a growing fund to support the education of seminarians.

The Seminarian Education Endowment Fund was created by donors, Bob and Laura Coleman, to support the future of our diocesan Church which they see present in our diocesan seminarians. The diocese currently has 41 men studying to become priests at seven seminaries in the United States or Europe.

Every year our diocese invests about $40,000 to educate each one of our seminarians.

As of January 2017, the balance of the Seminarian Education Endowment Fund (SEEF) reached $1 million.  That balance provides annual distributions that support the full cost of educating one diocesan seminarian each year into perpetuity.

“Eventually I hope that the endowment will grow to the point of fully funding all priestly education for our diocese,” said Laura Coleman.
