Important tips for registering for the lottery:
- Complete one form per camper.
- If the camper’s name is identical or similar to someone else in the family, please try to use some identifying nickname, suffix, etc.
- Use the email to which you want the lottery results sent.
- Forms must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017.
More about FIAT Camp
FIAT Camp offers five days and four nights at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, growing in faith, prayer and friendship. The mornings include Mass and talks, the afternoons are sports, crafts and recreation, and evening events are a mix of spiritual and fun. There is also a pilgrimage to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. Religious sisters from various orders serve as staff for the camp and are active participants.
The camp is for rising 9-12 graders.
2017 Dates: July 9 - 13
The camp starts Sunday, July 9 at 2 p.m. and includes Mass for the girls and their families. The camp ends Thursday, July 13 at 1:30 p.m.
Cost and Financial Aid Information
The fee for the camp is $220 per camper, and includes private room, linens, as well as all meals, activities, and staffing for the camp. Payment plans are available (see below). Financial aid is available with permission of Fr. Jaffe, Director of the Office of Vocations. Requesting financial aid or Payment Plan in no way hinders a participant’s order in the lottery.
The actual cost of the camps is $500 per camper, which is subsidized by generous benefactors of the diocese. If you are able to pay more it is appreciated (and the additional payment is considered tax deductible); there will be more information about this when you receive registration information.
Camp can be paid for in three installments ($75, $75 and $70). For those issued a slot in the original lottery (April 10), the first payment will be due by May 1. Second is due June 1. Third is due June 20.
Those receiving slots after April 10 will have the schedule adjusted accordingly, but the last payment must be received by June 20.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Cancellations received before June 1st receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations received after June 15th do not receive a refund.

FIAT Registration Lottery
Due to the high demand for FIAT Camp, registration is done by lottery, and there are 115 spots available.
The lottery is open from 9:30 a.m. March 1 through midnight March 31, and names will be drawn during the first full week of April. Those receiving a spot will receive an email by Monday April 10th letting them know if they have a spot in the 2017 camp.
This April 10 email will include a link to the registration form. In order to secure your spot, you must register and submit all forms and payment by May 1, 2017, or your spot will be released for someone on the waiting list.
Those who do not secure a spot in the original lottery will be placed on a waiting list, the order of which will also be determined by lottery. As soon as any spots are released we will let you know in the order of the waiting list.

We are thrilled these camps have received such a great response; at the same time, we regret that we don’t have the time or the space to accommodate more campers.
