Youth Ministry program includes: Our mission is to provide opportunities for young people to be actively involved in their parish community so as to grow closer to Jesus Christ. At the High School level, we offer Sunday Night Life Teen which is the core catechesis and community life. Weekly we offer What's Up Wednesdays afterschool as a social and sport outlet, plus Catholic Life Communities (CLC) on Tuesdays for girls and Thursdays for guys. CLC is a great way for teens to go deeper in their faith with like-minded peers! Monthly we offer a 6am Morning Mass & Breakfast on 1st Mondays. On 1st & 3rd Fridays we offer Agua y Luz, which attracts primarily Latinos for a night of dinner, formation, confessions, adoration, sharing, & sports. The Boy Scout Troop and CYO are also tremendously active! Annually, retreats & mission trips are offered. The Middle School offerings are diverse including a twice monthly Middle School Mania which is a purely social Friday night activity with various themes. Also, twice a month we offer Ascend, a group that helps middle school youth go deeper in faith within a single sex context. Trips are planned monthly as well. Annually, Middle School Mission is an excellent way to be involved in service. Upper Room Theatre Ministry provides a unique outlet to those in high school, college, and even young adults.

History/Resume

Active in Youth Ministry since: 8/15/1997
In current position since: 8/1/2001

Why I work in Youth Ministry: Since I was in college, I felt God calling me directly to work within Youth Ministry as a way to help teens stay connected to God and the Church. More than 20 years later, that calling is stronger than ever, now that I have teens of my own. Along the way, my community of Youth Apostles has nourished and prepared me to take up this beautiful calling.

About Me: I am married, have 9 beautiful children, live on a small family farm, and our family loves to perform together. An interesting fact is that I performed as a clown for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus in the late 90s... no, I was not a scary clown ;)
