Ghana Catholic Community

The Ghana Catholic Community enriches our diocesan Church with their weekly Masses and cultural celebrations and has grown very rapidly. They include youth groups, men's ministry, Knights of Columbus, a choir, religious education, Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus organization, and a Christian Mothers' Association. The Spiritual Director of the Ghanaian Catholic Community is Father Anthony Appiah.

Revival: Encountering God

Father Anthony Appiah and the Ghana Catholic Community invite you to four days of Revival: Encountering God. The overall theme is, 'You shall be my witness,' and the event will take place at 4329 Sano Street, Alexandria, VA 22312. Speakers include Fr. Anthony Appiah, Mr. Anthony Assibey and Mr. Emmanuel Tamakloe.

Annual Summer Cookout

Father Anthony Appiah and the Ghana Catholic Community invite you to their Annual Summer Cookout at Fort Hunt Park, Area A-001, 8999 Fort Hunt Road, Alexandria, VA 22308. The picnic will begin at 12:00 p.m. and end at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome!
