Maintenance to Mission Evangelization Boot Camps

At the invitation of the pastor or school principal, these boot camps are offered on-site at parishes and schools for staff, ministry leaders, volunteers, and others.  The goal is to take a fresh look at the work of evangelization and how it might be focused and strengthened in the local community.  Each boot camp draws from texts such as Pope Francis' Joy of the Gospel, and we strive to provide practical suggestions and resources.

For parish staff, we offer a half-day retreat-style boot camp through which participants will learn about the New Evangelization and the evangelizing mission of a Catholic parish, followed by a group discussion about the current state of that mission in your parish community.  We will take an honest look at what is going well, what might need more attention, and what the particular opportunities and challenges are in your parish.

For groups such as volunteer ministry leaders, catechists, or teachers, we can offer presentations on these and other topics:

  • Evangelizing the Family
  • How to Give Your Personal Witness
  • Principles of Hospitality and Outreach
  • The Parish School as an Evangelizing Community
  • Fundamentals of Adult Faith Formation
  • New and Traditional Media in the Service of Evangelization
  • Administrative Evangelization in the Parish Office
