2011 marriage Jubilee Mass
The Most Reverend Paul S. Loverde will honor couples in the Diocese of Arlington celebrating 25 and 50 years of marriage at the annual Marriage Jubilee Mass. If you were married in 1961 or 1986, please watch for registration details in your parish bulletin, beginning in August.

Registration
Beginning in August, you should see announcements in your parish bulletin regarding registration for the Jubilee Mass. Please contact your parish office to register once the announcements appear. The registration deadline is Friday, September 23rd. If you are unable to attend or your spouse has recently passed away you may receive a certificate and program by registering through your parish.
Registered couples will receive details by mail two weeks before the Jubilee Mass. Directions will be included.

There is no cost to register or attend.
Mass includes collective renewal of vows led by Bishop Loverde.
Dress is Sunday best.
Please try to arrive between 2-2:15pm. Seating may not be available before 2pm due to another Mass at the Cathedral.
Guests are welcome to attend the Mass and reception. They may sit in any non-reserved pews during the Mass and do not need to register to attend.

Jubilarian couples are assigned seats. Guests will not be able to sit immediately next to couple unless there is a serious need to do so.
This Mass will fulfill your Sunday obligation. The regular Sunday collections may be taken.
The Marriage Jubilee Mass honors only 25 and 50 year marriage anniversaries. We are unable to include other anniversaries in the ceremony.
Handicap seating is available for jubilarians and/or guests. Please specify this need in advance when registering with your parish. The Bishop will bring certificates directly to couples who are unable to go up to receive it.
Pictures may be taken with Bishop Loverde at the reception. Please bring a camera if you wish to do so.
