marriage preparation

Engaged parishioners in the Diocese of Arlington must initiate marriage preparation with their parish priest at least SIX MONTHS prior to the intended wedding date.  Please see Policies below for full details.  Engaged couples are required to attend a Pre-Cana conference.

Pre-Cana Conferences

Diocesan Conference for the Engaged  Two separate programs:  One is a single Saturday conference in Vienna, VA; The other takes place over three consecutive Thursdays in Woodbridge, VA.

Catholic Engaged Encounter
Friday evening through Sunday conference in Herndon, VA.

Three to Get Married

Thursday evening plus Friday evening through Sunday retreat in Bethesda, MD.
