Schedule of Events

The third annual Men's Conference will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at St. Joseph's Parish Hall in Herndon, VA. If you have any questions, contact Tom O'Neill.

Catholic Diocese of Arlington

  • 7-9am: Confession Available
  • 7:45-9am:  Registration & Continental Breakfast
  • 9am: Opening Prayer – Welcome-  Introduction by Msgr. Swetland
  • 9:15am: Talk by Msgr. Swetland: "The Vocation to be a Man."
  • 10:05am: Talk by Rev. Saunders: "Being the St. Joseph in Your Family."
  • 10:50am:  Break
  • 11:05am:  Talk by Dr. Thigpen: 'Ten Small but Effective Ways to Share Your Faith.'
  • 12pm: Lunch
  • 1pm: Breakout Session #1*
  • 1:45pm: Breakout Session #2*
  • 2:30-4pm:  Holy Mass with the   Most Rev. Paul S. Loverde

* After lunch the program divides into three breakout sessions. The men may choose 2 out of the 3 sessions to attend.

  • Three Protestant Challenges to Catholic Faith: How to Respond When Someone Asks – Dr. Thigpen
