Position Summary

The Information Services Department (IS) is responsible for selecting, deploying and supporting software, hardware and telecommunication resources for the central administrative staff to utilize in fulfilling their mission within the Chancery.

Within the Information Services Office, the List Maintenance Assistant directly supports the use of iMIS and Microsoft Outlook Public Folders by maintaining the data within the systems and by supporting other departments in their use of that data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Add, edit and delete contact records in the CAO contacts database (iMIS).
  • Add, edit and delete contact information in Outlook Public Folders.  .
  • Process iMIS fundraising batches for departments with restricted access to that module.
  • Provide overflow support for departments processing iMIS Event registrations.
  • Support projects that require new or heavy uses of iMIS (e.g.  Bishop’s Lenten Appeal, Work Camp registration, Educational Institute Registration).
  • Provide troubleshooting support for incorrect iMIS batches..
  • Act as a point of contact between parishes and the CAO for data updates.
  • Generate various lists and reports for parishes and CAO departments.
  • Act as a back-up to the IS Administrative Assistant

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills

    • Proficiency in data entry. 
    • Strong organizational and communication skills. 
    • Attention to detail and desire for accuracy are highly valuable skills in this position.
    • Familiarity with and comfort in MS Office Suite a plus

Education:

High School graduate or equivalent required. Some college desirable

 

Years and Type of Experience:

2 years of experience in a clerical environment
