The 2011 collection will be the weekend of November 19-20.

The annual CCHD collection

For forty years, the annual second collection for CCHD,  held each year on the weekend before Thanksgiving,  has supported the efforts of low-income people to improve their lives, by providing funding to help them work together to create jobs, improve neighborhoods, train adults for employment at a living wage, keep schools safe and enriching for children, and raise leaders for the future.

The work of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development is made possible by the generous donations of Catholic parishioners whose contributions in the annual collection, and at other times of the year, become the tools of self-reliance and self-sufficiency for people who are motivated to break out of the cycle of poverty.
