MISSION STATEMENT
As members of the Charismatic Renewal Service Council, we are called to support the leaders of local charismatic prayer groups through leadership training, shared prayer, and fellowship, as well as to provide Charismatic Renewal worship and faith-building opportunities for the Diocese of Arlington.
Fully obedient to the teachings, traditions and Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church, we are committed to:
-- Support our priests in any way that will refresh and
empower them in the Holy Spirit, providing funds when necessary for
their attendance at charismatic retreats, conferences, etc.
-- Increase our help to prayer groups through training, support, and
encouragement of their leadership teams.
-- Assist parishes and prayer groups in conducting Life in the Spirit Seminars.
-- Provide follow-up to teenagers who attend charismatic youth
conferences, in strict adherence to the diocesan policy on the
prevention of sexual misconduct and child abuse.
-- Encourage coordination among the many culturally diverse charismatic prayer groups in the Arlington Diocese
