Building off of Pope Benedict XVI’s 2009 World Day of Peace Message, “Fighting Poverty to Build Peace,” the Diocesan Peace and Justice Commission has provided more facts about the issues of concern from the Holy Father’s Message, such as global disease and child poverty, and offers suggestions on how to be involved in these issues and more throughout the year.
