Directions to San Damiano

From D.C. Beltway
- Take 66 West for approximately 65 miles to Front Royal
Exit #6 – Rt. 340/522 North – - Continue on Rt. 522 for about 10 miles
- Turn right onto Rt. 642 (Armel Road) – the Center is .7 miles on the left
For a more scenic adventure
- Take 66 West – past “Marshal” exit to Exit 23 Rt. 17 N toward Delaplane and Paris – Follow Rt. 55/17 N approximately 7 miles until it ends at the intersection of John Mosby Hwy/US-17N/Rt. 50
- Turn left onto John Mosby Hwy/US-17N/Rt. 50 West (towards Winchester) for 10.4 miles
- Turn left onto Rt. 644/Gun Barrel Road for 1.3 miles
- Turn right onto Chrismore Road.
- This road will “T” at San Damiano.
From I-81
Take Rt. 50 East exit in Winchester (away from downtown Winchester). Make an immediate right onto 522 South. After approximately 5 miles, turn left onto Rt. 642 (Armel Road). The Center will be on the left.
From Rt. 7
- Take Rt. 7 West toward Winchester
Exit on to I-81 South
- Continue on until first exit at Rt.50 E/522 S (a left at the end of the ramp, and move over quickly to the right lane to turn Right at 522 South)
- Take Rt. 522 South toward Front Royal
- Stay on 522 South for approximately 5 miles (When you pass Armel Elementary School on your left, take your next left onto Rt. 642 (Armel Road)
- San Damiano is .7 miles on the left.
From the Southern and Eastern parts of the diocese
- Take Rt. 17 North (this route will include a few turns and a few merges)
- Continue thru Warrenton and onto the merge with I-66
- Continue on Rt. 17 North via Exit 23 (Delaplane/Paris)
- Follow until the end at Rt. 50
Left on Rt. 50 West (John Mosby Hwy) for about 10.4 miles to
Left turn on Gun Barrel Road until
Right on Chrismore – this road will “T” at Spiritual Life Center.
