As I travel throughout the diocese, I no doubt see in some of the faces of  our youth and young adults the faces of future parents, future priests  and future religious sisters and brothers. During these decisive years  in your life, as you personally discover and develop the gifts God has  given you, you must also strive to discover the vocation He has laid  out for you to travel.

This should be done so that you may accomplish  the "master plan" or "life project" He entrusted to you when He created  you. I want to express my gratitude for your prayerfully considering  the possibility that God may be calling you to the priesthood or the  consecrated life. As you know, our diocese is growing very quickly.

We  need good priests who will lead us in holiness, we need good religious  men and women to minister to those in need and to pray for our diocese.  God is indeed calling you to a particular vocation. It's an exciting  time as you discover and respond to His invitation. If your response is  a generous and open one you will not only be uniting yourself more  closely to the Lord, but you will also be fulfilling the deepest  longing of your heart!

Please contact the Office of vocations if interested in attending any Discernment Group Events
