Journey to Emmaus: A High School Youth Ministry Curriculum

Video Version

Statistics show that very few young people will ever set foot in a typical “youth group.” Therefore we created a version of our curriculum to help leaders in a variety of settings engage youth in discussions about aspects of the faith. For example, a coach after sports practice or a scouting leader as part of their meeting could use this resource to more intentionally discuss the faith with young people.

Leaders should review the session before using it with young people. Volunteers are encouraged to dialogue with their Director of Youth Ministry about how to interact with youth, talk about the faith, and whether a specific doctrine, issue, or question in a session is well-suited for the context in which they serve. This is especially important with regard to Issue Nights, some of which should only be used with written parental permission and/or are not appropriate to discuss before high school.

The video version is free of charge to anybody that wants to use it.
