Job description includes: When I got involved in the Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) retreats in Springfield, IL. I continued to be involved in retreat and music ministry through college at St. John’s Catholic Newman Center at the University of Illinois. Over the next few years, while a seminarian for the Diocese of Peoria, I had opportunities to help with Confirmation retreats, Emmaus Days vocations retreats, Praise & Worship prayer groups, campus ministry, and Boy Scout retreats. My current position as Director of Youth Ministry at St. John the Apostle is my first full-time ministry position.
Current Program: Sr. CYM at Greenberry’s! Wednesday 7:00-8:30 pm.

Why I am a Youth Minister
Walking with God day-by-day, following His will, and doing whatever He tells you (John 2:5) is the greatest adventure you will ever live. It leads you to the very brink of what is humanly possible, and beyond! Living out this adventure has led me into many twists and turns, joys and sorrows, ups and downs, but it has been anything but BORING. It has brought me more thrills than I ever encountered in my thrill-seeking days. And what else would you expect? The most powerful Being in the universe is closer than your closest friend, wiser than your wisest mentor, bigger than your biggest fear, and He is ridiculously and madly in love with you. He’s got an amazing adventure mapped out and specifically tailored to you. That’s the thrill I am seeking out now, and I want to help others discover their own personal wild safari.
