Job description includes: Coordinate site visits to find projects for WorkCamp; assist in the formation and preparation of those attending the week of service; assist with the planning of the WorkCamp with the "WorkCamp Team"; assisting the rest of the office with everything that the Office of Youth Ministry is involved in.

Favorite Pastime: Youth Ministry retreats, Camping, Rock Climbing, Golfing with my brothers and friends, movies, hiking with my dog (Gus), fly fishing, enjoying the outdoors and the magnificent beauty it contains, spending time with family and friends.

Why I work in Youth Ministry

I love to know that I am serving the future of the Church and contributing to the spiritual growth of young individuals. I believe that God has given me such a wide range of experiences and skills so that I can pass on my knowledge to others… who better to pass them on to than young Christians seeking Christ in their lives.


About Me
I am originally from Boise, Idaho and come from a very long line of carpenters and wood workers. I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio with a B.A. in Communication Arts. A couple of years after graduating I felt the call to religious life and joined the Franciscans, TOR.

I was in formation for three years before family and the Holy Spirit moved me back to Boise. I went back to school and finished my MBA in Marketing and Management while working as a project manager and volunteering with the youth group at a local parish.

In this position with the OYM, I am able to combine my two career-related passions, project and construction management with youth ministry. What a blessing! I am sincerely looking forward to getting to know Northern Virginia and the parishes that make up this great Diocese better in the coming years.
