St. Lucy Food Project Pantry Volunteer Opportunities

Stocking shelves at a food pantry is perhaps one of the happiest volunteer opportunities Catholic Charities has, because it means abundance!  

Register and volunteer to help St. Lucy Project Food Pantry at one of our two participating locations on November 20th with various tasks including:

  • Weighing food donations received over the weekend
  • Stocking shelves
  • Packing food bags
  • Wrapping bread & veggies
  • Making meal bags and breakfast kits
  • Making sandwich lunch bags for the evening meal
  • Producing care packages

About St. Lucy Project

Our food pantries serve those who are struggling to put food on the table for their family. Clients to our pantries receive donated food, including fresh produce, to feed their entire family. On average, families receive over 50 pounds of food per each monthly visit.
