How the Church "Welcomes the Stranger"

Parish Liaison Network Quarterly Meeting

National Migration Week is celebrated in the Catholic Church this year from September 20- 26. The theme chosen by the Holy Father, “Towards an ever wider 'we',” is an appeal to build a universal community--starting with the Church--where no one is excluded. Join us for the Parish Liaison Network Quarterly Meeting to celebrate and explore diversity within our Diocese and how the Church “Welcomes the Stranger.” Representatives from Diocesan and Catholic Charities' ministries will share resources, information, stories and strategies on how individuals and parishes can create welcoming and supportive environments for migrants and refugees in our communities. A grab n' go lunch will be provided to those who RSVP. This is an in-person only event.
