ARLINGTON, Va. – On December 9, around 200 carolers from
the Young Adult Ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington will sing in the
streets of Old Town Alexandria. This is the Diocese’s third year hosting this
event.

St. Mary Catholic Church (group
meets here at 5 p.m.), 310 S. Royal Street, Alexandria
Brendan
Gotta, Young Adult Ministry Coordinator, says carolers will sing all of the
traditional Christmas songs. “We hold this event hoping to bring joy to people
and remind them of the true meaning of Christmas,” Gotta says. “Any chance to
praise God is worth taking.”
