Jesus Christ is risen today: Hallelujah, hallelujah!

This truth is the reason for our joyful hope at Easter and always. It is true, dear friends, by His own suffering and death and resurrection, Jesus has once and for all dispelled the power of darkness. He has transformed chaos into order and promises that all suffering will lead to glory and even death to life. Our risen Lord invites us to walk in this newness of life as His sons and daughters, every day of our lives, and forever.

There's one other thing the Lord asks of us: to go forth as His witnesses of this joyful hope, and to allow others to see by the way we live that freedom can only be found in faithfulness to His commands, and we only discover serenity and peace in relationship with Him.

Jesus Christ is risen today; He is victorious and His victory is ours. No wonder we sing 'Alleluia! Alleluia!'

May our risen Lord bless you, dear friends, with abundant peace and joy at Easter, and always.
