The Cathedral of St. Thomas More's Annual “Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols” Concert Celebration Takes Place this Sunday, December 5

Annual Celebration Features the Cathedral, Youth and Handbell Choirs.

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Cathedral of St. Thomas More's annual “Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols” takes place this Sunday, December 5, at 4 p.m. in Arlington, Va. Bishop Michael F. Burbidge and Bishop Emeritus Paul S. Loverde will lead prayer and readings. The concert features Cathedral clergy, lay readers, the Cathedral choir, youth choir, and handbell choir. A cherished Cathedral tradition, all are invited to celebrate the joy and peace of this wonderful season in the beauty of St. Thomas More Cathedral.

For more than half a century, The Cathedral of St. Thomas More has maintained a unique ministry of bringing the work of established concert artists to the larger community through an annual series of free concerts in the exquisite acoustical environment of the Cathedral.
