Mass to Pray for Victims of Sexual Abuse at Christ the Redeemer

Please join Bishop Burbidge, the Vicar General Fr. Thomas Ferguson and the Victim Assistance Coordinators for a Mass of Healing to pray for victim survivors of sexual abuse and their families. And in a particular way on the commemoration of 15 years since implementation of the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.

The Mass will be held at 7:30 PM at Christ the Redeemer Church in Sterling, VA. No RSVP is necessary.

There will be a reception after the Mass, an opportunity to meet with Bishop Burbidge, Fr. Ferguson and the Victim Assistance Coordinators.

About Healing Masses:  In 2004, we came together as a church community at St. Thomas More Cathedral to pray for healing for victims/survivors of sexual abuse and their families. Our goal has been to out reach to all the parishes to offer healing and reconciliation with the Church.
