Transitional Diaconate: Saturday June 3

At the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington June 3, Arlington Bishop Michael F. Burbidge ordained Chris F. Tipton and Michael J. Folmar as transitional deacons for the diocese. As they knelt in obedience, Bishop Burbidge told the two men, “May God, who has begun a good work in you, bring it to fulfillment.”

Priesthood Ordination: Saturday June 10

The ranks of the diocesan priesthood increased by three June 10 as Arlington Bishop Michael F. Burbidge ordained Father Steven G. Oetjen, Father Stephen M. Vaccaro and Father Jordan M. Willard at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More. It was the bishop's first priesthood ordination as the fourth bishop of Arlington.
