Why is the school named after Saint Isidore?

A. Saint Isidore of Seville is the patron saint of the Internet, Bishop and Scholar.

When will the school open?

A. The school opened on September 8, 2020.  School hours are 8:15-3:00 (K-5), 8:15 - 3:15(6-8)

How can I enroll my child in Saint Isidore?

A. Begin by visiting www.arlingtondiocese.org/our-schools/ and completing the Application for Admission.

How much is tuition?

A. Tuition is:

  • $6,000 one child
  • $10,428 two children (Second child $4,428)
  • $14,654 three children (Third child $4,226)

Who are the teachers?

A. The faculty will be made up primarily of experienced educators from the Diocese of Arlington.

What is the curriculum?

A. St. Isidore will follow the K-8 diocesan curriculum.  The curriculum guidelines can be found at www.arlingtondiocese.org/catholic-schools/curriculum-guidelines/

What will class sizes be?

A. Class sizes will be capped at 23 students.

What if my parish school goes back to eLearning, can I just transfer back to it?

A. No, families enrolling at St. Isidore will be making a full year commitment to this online option.

What if I already paid tuition to my parish school?

A. Tuition paid to your parish school is based on your school's tuition policy.   A new FACTS account for Saint Isidore will be established with a new tuition agreement.

Will my tuition assistance funds be applied to St. Isidore?

A. Yes, tuition assistance will be provided in the same proportion as was allocated at your parish school.  If you received tuition assistance equal to 15% of the cost at your parish school, you will receive 15% of Saint Isidore tuition.  You will need to RE-APPLY to FACTS Tuition & Aid.

Will I be able to enroll my child back at my parish school for the 2021-2022 school year?

A. Re-enrollment policy varies from school to school.  You are encouraged to maintain communication with your parish school.  

Will there be a single digital platform for managing schoolwork at St. Isidore?

A. Yes, the school will utilize the Schoology platform.
