Priests sustain us with the sacraments. Religious strengthen the Church with their prayers and their ministries. We need holy families to encourage openness to all vocations. What we need is a Culture of Vocations.

Building a culture of vocations depends on all baptized Catholics. It depends on you.

The Diocese of Arlington has been blessed in recent years with many vocations. The number of diocesan seminarians is at its highest in decades, and dozens more women and men are in formation for the consecrated life. However, in order to serve the needs of the faithful, we still need more people to hear and respond to God's call.

The Diocese of Arlington invests a great deal in its seminarians to ensure they become well-formed priests. This preparation requires a great deal of time, effort and money.

Pray

Jesus Himself commands us, “Ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest” (Matthew 9:38). Find a variety of ways to pray for vocations.
