Dominican nuns seek God by observing the norms of the purely contemplative life, by withdrawal from the world by enclosure and silence, offering to God a sacrifice of praise through the liturgy, by work, study, pondering the Scriptures, professing the evangelical counsels and pursuing communion through their common life.
By their hidden life they proclaim prophetically that in God alone is true happiness to be found, here by grace and afterwards in glory.
