Clarity of Faith: Saint Charles and the Culture of the Counter-Reformation
Friday, April 29, 2022
Join us for an evening of art, music, and faith as we reflect on the figure of Saint Charles and his role in the Counter-Reformation. Local Catholic artist Henry Wingate will present his new portrait of Saint Charles. Through his art, learn about Saint Charles as a saintly reformer, and how his work played out in bringing clarity to our faith, the Mass, and the art and music of his time.
Then, enjoy a small concert meant to inspire and draw us into the world of Saint Charles. Local Catholic professional musicians will perform selections from sacred and secular music of Saint Charles' day. A reception will follow.
Free and open to the public.
