Advent Retreat Dec 2022

Finding Peace and Joy with Jesus & Mary in Advent

"Mary treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart. (Luke 2:19)

"Calm... Quiet... Contemplative... Waiting in Joyful Anticipation..."  These words describe what the holy season of Advent ought to be--and rarely is!

Instead the weeks before Christmas tend to be manic, stressful, anxious, and distracted as women, wives, mothers, (and professionals) rush about to fulfill the great expectations of their families and those about them.

Why not "come aside and rest awhile," to "treasure and ponder" the true meaning of the Advent Season... and properly prepare for the coming of Christ our Lord?

Gather with your sisters and savor the silence at our Arlington Diocese's San Damiano Retreat Center in White Post, VA.  Fr. John Riley will lead us in this silent retreat with daily Mass, Confessions... and conferences and considerations of the movements and moments of Mary as she embraced God's plan and welcomed His Son into the world as a little child...Jesus.

We'll begin Friday December 2nd at 6:00 pm and finish on Sunday 4th towards Noon.  Please check out the flyer below for more details, and click here to download it.

Retreat cost is $285 and financial assistance may be available.
