Why I work in Youth Ministry
Because God told me to. He spoke so loudly in my heart and soul, I couldn't ignore it. I volunteered at St Mark for four years, then took the step into full time ministry at Holy Spirit July 2001. Getting involved in ministry has been such a source of blessing in my life--from the very first Mass at WorkCamp when I was a teen, to countless retreats and alternative Spring Breaks in college, to CLCs, and Core Teams as a volunteer post-college, to rallies, ski trips, spiritual bootcamp, weekly meetings, random outings and World Youth Day as a full time Director of Youth Ministry. This has, of course, continued in my time working in the Office of Youth, Campus, and Young Adult Ministries. I've met incredible people, had amazing prayer experiences, encountered such holiness, been so humbled, and learned so much. God never ceases to amaze me with the way He shines through such experiences.

About Me
I have a wonderful family, amazing friends, a lovely home, and a job that I truly love; I'm very blessed!  I am a Virginia native and have lived here all my life, with the exception of a few years overseas.  I am a proud graduate of George Mason University.  My nieces and nephews are my favorite people in the world, my favorite colors are pink and green, and St. John Paul II is my youth ministry hero.
