I ask all in the Diocese of Arlington to join me in prayer for Pope Francis, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of his election as our Holy Father.

We are ever grateful for his faithful witness to the joy of the Gospel and his consistent reminder to serve God and his children, most especially the poor and those in need. May God bless, guide, and protect him always.
