Religious Freedom Week 2019
June 22-29, 2019
This summer, Bishop Burbidge and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) are calling Catholics across the country to pray and act in support of religious liberty within the U.S. and abroad during Religious Freedom Week 2019.
The theme for this year’s Religious Freedom Week is “Strength in Hope.” The week starts on June 22, the Feast of Sts. Thomas More and John Fisher, and ends on June 29, the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul.
As a Diocese, we encourage you to participate in this important cause for the Catholic Church, by taking time each day to pray, reflect, and take action on religious liberty, both here in this country and abroad.
