Office of Communications

Leveraging a host of traditional and digital media platforms, the Office of Communications serves to inform, educate and inspire the faithful by increasing awareness of the various ministries and programs offered by the Diocese of Arlington. Delivery channels include websites, podcasts, e-newsletters, event coverage, YouTube, video messages, social media and secular media relations, among others, as well as the in-depth coverage provided by the award-winning Arlington Catholic Herald newspaper.

As a partnership of the Department of Communications and the Arlington Catholic Herald, the Office of Communications also works to amplify the message and vision of Bishop Burbidge for the Diocese through the promotion and coverage of specific events such as The World Day of Poor, The Light Is On Campaign, Work Camp, Diocesan Pilgrimage, Ordinations, the annual Men's and Women's Conferences and a host of other initiatives.
