Describe the charism of your congregation:

Bringing Christ to the young and the young closer to Christ: Since 1872, that has been our clear and steadfast mission! Founded 150 years ago by St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello in Italy, we Salesian Sisters-over 11,500-are wholly dedicated to serving young people in 97 countries on six continents.

Centered in the Eucharist and devoted to Mother Mary, we live a strong joyful life of prayer, community and mission with and for the youth, especially the poorest and most at risk. In our unique way of education, formation and evangelization animated by the Preventive System of reason, religion, and loving-kindness, we accompany young people in schools, oratories, youth centers, summer camps, catechetical programs, parish and diocesan youth and young adult ministries, retreat centers, college campuses and more.

We thank God who continues to bless us as we celebrate 150 years this year (2022) with great vitality and strong vocations!
