Live stream Masses, liturgies and more

Bishop Burbidge has dispensed all the faithful of the Diocese from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass and holy days of obligation during this time.

Governor Northam's plan for Phase 1, allows for churches to operate at a maximum of 50% capacity. Reinstituting the public celebration of the Mass at each parish depends on proper social distancing and the ability of parish clergy and staff to safely accommodate parishioners. This ability may vary from one parish to another.  See Bishop Burbidge's Most Recent Statement  or read our Most Recent Diocesan Press Release  to learn more.

Bishop Burbidge and the priests of the Diocese continue to offer creative ways to grow in your faith during this challenging time as the coronavirus spreads. Many parishes are facilitating a live stream or recording daily and Sunday Mass. Many parishes are open for private prayer and Confession. Some priests are offering spiritual reflections on social media; parking lot adoration, drive-through blessings of the faithful, or virtual parish town halls.

Especially on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation, the faithful are encouraged to devote time to prayer, observe Mass on television or the internet, and pray the Rosary, along with other devotions. Below are just some of the liturgies you can participate in online.

Please visit your parish website for other activities during this time.
