What is Divine Mercy Sunday?

This particular Sunday is a day of great graces. Jesus told St. Faustina that on this day: “the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon souls who approach the Fount of My Mercy [the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist]. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.” (Note: Confessions will not be available this day. Your confession during Lent satisfies this requirement.)

For more information please visit the Holy Trinity parish website or contact the parish during their regular office hours: Monday–Friday 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. by phone at (703) 753-6700.
