Maintenance to Mission Evangelization Boot Camps

At the invitation of the pastor or school principal, Maintenance to Mission boot camps are offered on-site at parishes and schools for staff, ministry leaders, volunteers, and others.  The goal is to take a fresh look at the work of evangelization and how it might be focused and strengthened in the local community.  Each boot camp draws from Bishop Burbidge's insights on the New Evangelization, the USCCB's Living as Missionary Disciples, Pope Francis' Joy of the Gospel, and other key resources.

Boot camps can be tailored to fit a variety of audiences, including parish staff, parish councils, apostolate leaders, ministry volunteers, school faculty, and catechists. The following "a la carte" options are available in order to best customize a boot camp:

  • Evangelizing the Family
  • How to Give Your Personal Witness
  • Principles of Hospitality and Outreach
  • The Parish School as an Evangelizing Community
  • Fundamentals of Adult Faith Formation
  • New and Traditional Media in the Service of Evangelization
  • Administrative Evangelization in the Parish Office
  • Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats: A Facilitated Strategic Planning Session

The Maintenance to Mission: New Evangelization Boot Camp flyer is available for download.
