SUMMARY:FIAT Camp Staff applications
DESCRIPTION:If you really feel that God may be calling you to life as a religious sister\, time spent at FIAT is an excellent way to “try it out” - you're living and praying and working and laughing with sisters as you serve alongside them at our discernment camp for high school girls.  \nThis is also an excellent opportunity to grow as a Catholic woman leader. \nYou will get to know the sisters as individuals\, hear how God revealed His plan to them\, and also hear about the prayer life and apostolic works of their orders.  You will also participate in the daily prayer of the camp: Mass\, Holy Hour\, Rosary\, and meditations and talks given by the sisters\, and serve as assistant group leaders for the 100 high school girls who come to grow in their own discernment.  \nThe camp is held at Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg\, MD and is always an amazing experience. Dates for 2025 are July 19-24. Applications are accepted January 1-31\, 2025; contact the Office of Vocations if you are interested.

DESCRIPTION:The Diocese of Arlington’s Life is VERY Good is joining forces with the Sisters of Life and Knights of Columbus to offer Life Fest 2025: two new events with one united vision. Both the Night of Praise (January 23) and the Morning Rally and Mass (January 24) offer an opportunity for people of all ages to pray for the success of the National March for Life in changing our hearts and those of others in this country. The Morning Rally and Mass includes Mass\, a concert\, keynote speakers\, and more! Each ticket includes a Chick-fil-A lunch to go. More information can be found on the Life Fest webpage and tickets can be purchased at Life Fest 2025 Tickets.  \nThis event is part of a celebration of the Jubilee of People with Disabilities.
