DESCRIPTION:What is seminary life like? Spend a weekend and experience first-hand as you pray\, eat\, and get to know Arlington seminarians at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary outside Philadelphia\, PA. \nThe group will go together in a van\, departing Arlington on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and returning Sunday by 5:00 p.m.  \nCost is $40 and includes transportation\, lodging and food. \nThis event is for men ages 18-35 interested in exploring their vocation. \nEmail to reserve your place and get the registration link: vocations@arlingtondiocese.org. \nSpace is limited. Deadline to register is Monday March 2 with payment due by Friday March 6. \n

SUMMARY:Mass and Anointing of the Sick
DESCRIPTION:The Order of Malta Northern Virginia Region will be hosting its annual Anointing of the Sick mass at the Cathedral of Saint Thomas More on Laetare Sunday\, 15 March 2026\, celebrated by the Most Rev. Michael Burbidge\, Bishop of Arlington. This liturgy invites all those in the Diocese of Arlington in need of healing to gather at the Cathedral to receive the sacraments of the sick and Eucharist. Participants are tended to by members of the Order\, whose mission is to care for the sick and poor\, and receive a Miraculous Medal and bottle of holy water from Lourdes to assist them in their faith journey following the Mass.
