Teachers who are ready to help students strive to meet high standards are invited to meet with the principals of the Diocese of Arlington Catholic Schools on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Paul VI High School at the annual Teacher Job Fair.

Principals are seeking outstanding teachers who are willing to commit themselves to students and nurture in them a love of knowledge, a lifelong faith in God and a commitment to serve others.  The schools want to find the best candidates for up to 100 openings they expect to have in the upcoming school year.

From 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM prospective teachers will have a chance to introduce themselves to principals from Catholic Schools and learn about teaching opportunities in preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school.  Hundreds of teachers are expected to attend the fair to meet principals, distribute resumes and set up interviews.  Representatives of the Office of Catholic Schools, assisted by current Catholic school teachers, will be available to answer questions about the benefits of working in Catholic schools.

Sr. Karl Ann Homberg, Assistant Superintendent for the Arlington Catholic Schools explained the goal of the fair, "We are looking for excellent teachers to serve our 18,000 students and continue the good work being done in our schools."

The Diocese of Arlington Teacher Job Fair will be open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Paul VI High School, 10675 Fairfax Blvd. (Rt. 50), Fairfax, Virginia.  Admission is free.  Plenty of free parking is available.  More information about the job fair and applications for teaching positions can be obtained by calling 703-841-2519 or by visiting www.arlingtondiocese.org/our-schools.
