Catholic Diocese of Arlington's Office of Catholic Schools  to Hold Job Fair in Effort to Hire 150 Teachers

ARLINGTON, Va. - On Saturday, March 7, 2020, the Catholic Diocese of Arlington's (CDA) Office of Catholic Schools will hold a job fair seeking to fill up to 150 teaching positions. Positions are open in preschools, elementary, middle and high schools. The Diocese has 37 parish (K-8) schools, four diocesan high schools, four independent Catholic schools and five free-standing (not connected with a parish school) pre-schools, serving more than 17,000 students. 

“Schools in the Diocese strive to meet the highest standards of excellence, providing instruction that is challenging, individualized, and rooted in our Catholic faith,” said Sr. Karl Ann Homberg, Assistant Superintendent for the Office of Catholic Schools. “A key part of ensuring we continue to provide our students with a learning experience that best serves them and prepares them for the future is identifying and hiring top talent for each and every position in our schools.”

Job seekers should come prepared to talk with principals from the Catholic schools and representatives from the diocesan Office of Catholic Schools. They should bring their resumes and any other relevant materials and be prepared to schedule follow-up interviews.
