Sems MSM Spring 2022

How can I support vocations?

There are a variety of ways in which donors can support our seminarians and the work of the Office of Vocations. Use these links or scroll to the bottom to find out how to make a contribution.

Seminarian Education Endowment Fund: Read more about this growing fund to support the education of our seminarians.

General Vocations Fund: Donations to this fund support the work the Office of Vocations does to form seminarians, offer discernment opportunities, and promote vocations.

Msgr. Roeltgen Fund: Donations to this fund help cover seminarians' personal expenses.

Direct Donation to a Seminarian: We are happy to recommend a seminarian to support and provide you with his contact information. Because these donations are personal, they are not tax-deductible (but they are definitely appreciated!).

Bishop’s Lenten Appeal: Support for the Bishop’s Lenten Appeal helps fund seminarian formation and diocesan vocations events.

Knights of Columbus Councils: Local Knights of Columbus Councils have donated more than $150,000 over the past five years to support seminarians and postulants. Make sure your council is receiving reimbursement from Supreme Council for a portion of donations made.

Race for Seminarians: By sponsoring a runner or participating in the Race for Seminarians, you support our seminarians and Office of Vocations programs.

To contribute to the General Vocations Fund or the Monsignor Roeltgen Fund, make checks payable to the Catholic Diocese of Arlington and indicate in a letter or on the Memo of the check where the donation should be directed. All these contributions are tax-deductible.
