About Most Rev. Michael F. Burbidge
Bishop Burbidge leads the diocese in evangelization efforts through traditional and digital media. You can hear from him on platforms such as the The Walk Humbly Podcast, weekly radio spots, and in the Arlington Catholic Herald via his monthly pastoral column.
Since his installation as the Fourth Bishop of Arlington on December 6, 2016, Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge has travelled the diocese ministering to the faithful in his trademark warm, friendly and pastoral manner. To keep the diocesan family current on the many liturgies, events and special occasions at which he presides, the Office of Communications documents the significant impact Bishop Burbidge has in Northern Virginia and beyond.
You can find a portfolio of video messages, homilies, statements, a public schedule, media coverage, weekly radio spots, and the Walk Humbly podcast on the diocesan and Catholic Herald websites. The diocese also enjoys a robust social media presence with accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, among others, to ensure that the messages of Bishop Burbidge are available to all.
