History/Resume

In current position since: April 2022
Active in Youth Ministry since:
 April 2022

Youth Ministry program includes: Our Middle School Ministry includes biweekly Middle School Mania nights where youth come together to make friends, have fun, and receive encouragement to have a relationship with Jesus. We also do Fun Monthly Outings to build community and provide wholesome fun adventures. Our High School Ministry provides opportunity for community-building, formation, and fun at our weekly Sunday Night Life Teen event. Every week has a different theme and set of activities, creating a fun variety. Our High Schoolers can also delve deeper by being a member of Girls or Guys CLC, which creates the space to build closer friendships in a small group and receive more intentional formation. On top of this, we have a weekly hangout with the High Schoolers every Wednesday to just reconnect, play games, and then spend some time with Jesus in Adoration. There's really something for everyone!

Why I work in Youth Ministry:  I want young people to know that the best life they could possibly live is one in relationship with the God who loves them, who has a beautiful plan for their life, and who is always seeking to draw close to them. I went through my deeper conversion in High School when life experiences encouraged me to seek comfort and truth in God. As a result, those years are very special to me because that's when I had a real turning point in my life and started to orient my life towards pursuing a relationship with Jesus. I want to help other young people respond to that invitation for relationship.

About Me: I graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Human Development and Family Science, knowing that I wanted to help families in some way. I am currently pursuing studies at Divine Mercy University in mental health and psychology.
