On March 8, school principals from 40 Catholic schools will be scouting for new teachers for pre-school, elementary school, middle school and high school-level positions. Prospective teachers are encouraged to attend the fair to meet principals, distribute resumes, and set up interviews for positions that will be available in the 2025–2026 school year.
Students in teacher preparation programs in colleges and universities throughout the Mid-Atlantic have been invited to attend the fair to see what opportunities await them in the schools of the Diocese of Arlington. Retired teachers, inactive teachers, and career switchers are also welcome to attend the fair and learn more about our opportunities.
“We are looking forward to welcoming an outstanding group of talented teachers at this fair. They will have an early and unique opportunity to speak with the principals from our schools, which are located in all the counties of Northern Virginia from Spotsylvania to Arlington,” said Diane Elliott, Assistant Superintendent for Arlington Catholic Schools explained.
The Diocese of Arlington Office of Catholic Schools supports 37 elementary schools, 4 high schools, 6 independent schools, and 3 stand-alone pre-schools, two-thirds of which have been recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools. Our students are regularly recognized as among the best and brightest in the country. In the graduating Class of 2024 more than $78.9 million in scholarships were awarded to the graduates of the four high schools, six of whom were named National Merit Scholarship Finalists.
