The Catholic Diocese of Arlington has learned that an active parishioner who has volunteered as an usher at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception parish in Fredericksburg was arrested and criminally charged on multiple counts relating to child pornography. We are not aware of any activity that took place on parish grounds.

We encourage anyone who may know of any abuse or misconduct on the part of any cleric, employee, or volunteer of the diocese to immediately notify civil authorities as well as to reach out to the diocesan Victim Assistance Coordinator at (703) 841-2530.
